Anita Garnuszek works mainly on commercial arbitration and investment arbitration issues, and on commercial disputes. She has worked with Łaszczuk and Partners since 2013.
Experience and Education
Anita Garnuszek graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 2014. The same year, she commenced full- time PhD studies at the Department of International Private and Commercial Law of the University of Warsaw. In 2015, she was admitted to the advocate training program.
Anita was a scholarship student at The Hague Academy of International Law, the International Academy of Arbitration Law. She is a laureate of Preludium competition held by National Science Center. She has completed also selected courses at the ICC Arbitration and ADR Training Programme, the International Academy for Arbitration Law in Paris, and the Arbitration Academy organized by ECA and Mediation Clinic.
In 2016, together with a team which included Krzysztof Riedl, won the 1st place in in the 5th edition of Lewiatan Arbitration Moot. The team won also second prize for the best statement of claim. In 2015, she won the 3rd place in general classification of the 4th Lewiatan Arbitration Moot 2015 together with the team, which also included Karolina Jesionowska and Monika Zuzaniuk of Łaszczuk & Partners. She has represented the University of Warsaw in seven international and domestic moot courts, with her team twice winning 2nd place overall and twice winning 1st place for the best memorandum in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. In the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 academic years she has served as the coach of the University of Warsaw moot team. In 2016, the team she coaches has won the national round of the Jessup Competition and became Poland’s representative at the international finals in Washington, DC.
She is a member of the Young International Arbitration Group, Young International Council for Commercial Arbitration, International Law Association – Polish Branch, Young ICSID, Polish Association of Sports Law and a founding member of the Young Business Club.
