On 18 November 2016 in Wrocław, Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Wrocław University hold a conference on the topic of “Arbitrator in Arbitration Court Procedure”.
The conference will discuss the issues relating to arbitrators and the process composition of an arbitration tribunal as the main characteristic of arbitration. The panelists will attempt to determine the motivation of the parties while appointing the arbitrators and their awareness of the fact that the arbitrator they have appointed is independent. They will also discuss whether is the opportunity to shape the composition of arbitral tribunal that makes arbitration more appealing than state courts.
The conference will consist of three panels and Maciej Łaszczuk, partner, will be moderating the second panel discussing procedural issues of challenging, removal and resignation of an arbitrator.
