On 25 May 2017, in Warsaw, a conference on new legal, organizational and technical requirements brought by new regulations on personal data protection is organized by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily.
Michał Chodkowski, Agnieszka Kocon and Krzysztof Riedl, Łaszczuk & Partners’ experts, will discuss the requirements of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), which will be applied in Poland beginning 25 May 2018.
They will discuss:
- New duties for administrators of personal data, according to GDPR
- Grounds for personal data processing in compliance with GDPR: will current consents for personal data processing be valid after 25 May 2018?
- New rights of the data subjects relating to access to personal data, transfer of data, limiting processing of data, removing data and profiling.
- Processing personal data of employees: does GDPR allow obtaining the employee’s consent to process personal data?
