First reading of bill to draft act on establishing the Day of Direct Selling Day in Poland on 17 October


On 14 January 2016, at its eighth session, the Polish Parliament was working on a bill establishing Direct Selling Day on 17 October. Draft of the bill was presented by representative of the Citizens’ Initiative Committee Michał Chodkowski, a partner at Łaszczuk & Partners.

The bill, proposed by the Citizens’ Initiative Committee, including members of the Polish Direct Selling Association has been filed with the previous Sejm.

Representatives of all Parliamentary Caucuses supported the bill. After a discussion, the Sejm decided to proceed with work on the bill at the Economy Committee.
